Hi guys
Today I am releasing my brand new Monochrome Echo EPÂ Analog Artifacts on Bandcamp.
This is the follow up to my debut EP 64 Souls which came out last year on the Blend label. I wanted to release this one myself and see what I can do self-promoting it. It’ll also be released on all digital platforms on 14th April so it’ll eventually be available on iTunes, eMusic etc and you’ll be able to stream it on Spotify if you like too.
But as always the best way to by my music is directly from me (!) via my Monochrome Echo Bandcamp page. The money goes straight to me and helps me make more music. I really hope you like this new direction.
Whilst you’re at it, please also like my Facebook page, follow me on Twitter, Â and indeed Spotify. It really helps get this new project noticed. And tell your mates if you like it too…
The artwork for the EP was created by the wonderful LostMachines DSGN. You can check out his work on Instagram. He’s one of my favourite artists on Instagram so I was really pleased to be able to hook up with him and work together on the artwork.
You can stream the whole EP right here and hopefully some of you will buy it too 😉

Hello folks
Just a quick post to let you know that a couple of my tracks were featured on this week’s podcast by Jayme Lewis.
Jayme is a session bassist, producer and author over in Los Angeles. His website is a great place to start if you want to check him out. Which I strongly suggest you do. His tutorial videos on YouTube are always excellent and I’ve been listening to his podcast for a while now. He always plays great tunes on there and I’ve certainly discovered some fantastic music via the podcast. In fact I first heard the awesome Mister Barrington on Jayme’s podcast about a month ago.
Jayme got in touch with me a couple of months ago to see if he could include a couple of my tracks. Of course he could! In this week’s episode he plays some mysterious song from The Knowledge Of Things To Come (which is still  available as a PWYW download via Bandcamp and iv from the trio record Foreground Music, Vol. I with Jez Carr and Mike Haughton.
It’s always interesting to see which tracks people pick to showcase an album. To be honest I’d be hard pushed to pick a particular track from any of my solo recordings as an example of what I do when I’m playing solo. I think some mysterious song is actually a great choice now I hear it on it’s own. That track contains a lot of the features that characterised the album for me so here’s a big thumbs up for Jayme…
ps. Jayme, if you read this: the rhythm track you hear was the sound of me plugging my bass in looped up at the start, It is indeed all live from start to finish…
Here’s One of Jayme’s records for you to check out. It’s available via those lovely people at Bandcamp.
So, please go forth  and check out Jayme Lewis and all the great stuff on his website. Big thanks to Jayme for the feature. It’s always great to know that someone appreciates your music and I’m in great company being featured on his Podcast.
Until next time…

Hello folks,
Just a quick post tonight I promise…
Today marks one year since the release of Foreground Music, Vol. I from the trio with Jez Carr and Mike Haughton. We have yet to start work on any new material but I’m sure we’ll get down to something once the new year starts. I’ll let you all know what we’re plotting once we have some proper plans.
Until then I’d say right now is the perfect time to pick up your copy of the record. The album is exclusively available via Bandcamp as a digital download. Check out this lovely review from Oliver Arditi, posted in June.
Whilst you’re over on my Bandcamp page, why not grab one of my solo recordings to check out too? They’re all available for whatever you want to pay for them. We had such a great response to the record when it came out a year ago. I hope you like it and do spread the word.
Until next time…
