Good evening folks,
I’m about to head off to catch the tourbus over to Paris and I thought it would be prudent at this juncture to alert you to the fact that you will be able to stream tomorrow night’s big Paris show via the Arte website.
The Divine Comedy return once again to play the rather stunning Philharmonie de Paris tomorrow night to a sold out house so if you still want to see he show the live stream is your best bet. Located in the Parc de la Villette, the venue had it’s opening ceremony only a month ago so we’ll be one of the first bands to play there. Very cool indeed. I can’t wait to get a look at this place; the main hall looks a bit like this…
Yikes. There will be pics. Our first set is at 8.30pm (that’s Paris time so 7.30 here in the UK) so make sure you’re tuned in. As far as I can tell at this stage the link for tomorrow’s live stream is HERE on the Arte website. If it turns out I’m wrong and you know better please post the link in the comments for everybody else. I might be busy…
Keep your eyes peeled on my Twitter feed and/or my Facebook page for the usual running commentary from the frontline! Wish us luck…

Hello gang,
Long time no blog. Sorry about that.
Anyway, thought I’d drop a very quick post to let you know that our Diva show is returning to Hideaway this Friday and Saturday. We’ve got four fantastic vocalists including Elaine Delmar, Heidi Vogel, Sulene Fleming and Chris Royal alongside a great house band. With me in it obviously.
If you haven’t been to one of the Diva shows yet this is your chance. It’s a great opportunity to check out some of London’s top singers in one show. There’s always a range of different music to enjoy and often features brand new arrangements from our MD Janette Mason.
Here’s a video from one of last year’s Diva shows featuring the awesome Elaine Delmar…
And if that news wasn’t exciting enough for you, I’ll be back at Hideaway next weekend for our Bowie night featuring David McAlmont and Sam Obernik. I’ll probably drop a separate post about that nearer the time to remind you.
You can get more information and book tickets for the Diva shows directly from the Hideaway website, or just buy them at the door. They might sell out though so I’d get booking if I were you.
Hopefully see some of you there!
Simon

Hi everyone,
So I’m back from touring Germany with Maggie Reilly and we’re straight into a run of our Aretha Franklin show at Hideaway in Streatham. This was one of our most popular shows last year and probably my favourite one to play.
We’re featuring Nina Ferro and Brendan Reilly and some great new arrangements of some classic Aretha tunes. Stella band too including Janette Mason on piano, Billy Adamson on guitar and Westley Joseph on drums as well as a two-piece horn section. It’s gonna be rather special…
If you missed the show last time, here’s a couple of little tasters of what you can expect. First up is Nina and Brendan singing I Knew You Were Waiting For Me)
And here’s Nina performing (You Make Me Feel) Like A Natural Woman
You can book your tickets at the Hideaway website or over the phone on 020 8835 7070.
See you there…
